The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba Santo Loku Pio on Sunday at St Theresa’s Cathedral warned the nation against preferring slavery from freedom.

The Bishop in his homily observed that many South Sudanese now find it safer to live in foreign countries instead of suffering at home, Radio Bakhita reported.

Bishop Loku urges politicians to take their baptismal obligations for serving people of God and avoid seeking for earthly materials.

The Auxiliary Bishop pleads to leaders to have conscience of considering all as brothers and sisters before God.

Bishop Loku prays for South Sudan’s new conversion and those baptized to continue caring for one another.
