Western Bahr El Ghazal State Wau Teaching Hospital management on Friday morning received second consignment of drugs, three solar energy equipment and two laundry washing machines from the International Medical Corps or IMC to boost service delivery.
State Health Minister Isaac Cleto Hassan hails IMC for supporting the hospital with necessary needs, saying the washing machines prevent workers from contracting diseases, Voice of Hospital reported.
IMC Coordinator for Wau Teaching Hospital Luckson Muchinouta says they delivered 52 boxes of different drugs and solar energy equipment with 24 batteries to answer the plight of fuel shortage in the hospital.
The IMC Coordinator reveals that an ambulance and other solar panels are expected to be delivered later.
