United States Ambassador to South Sudan on Tuesday visited Wau town of Western Bahr El Ghazal State for the first time since her arrival in the country recently.
Ambassador Mary Catherine Phee upon arrival expresses US commitment to put much effort to see peace in South Sudan, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
She says her visit to Wau to meet State Governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan is intended to discuss and monitor development efforts on the ground.
Ambassador Catherine says The United States is exerting more pressure on the warring parties to end hostilities and suffering as soon as possible.
