Tonj South police rescues Ugandan citizen from criminal hands

Warrap State’s Tonj South County police on Tuesday night rescued a Ugandan man identified as Kasai Sinan working as a contractor in building new Don Bosco Primary School from criminal hands.
 
Policeman Buut Thuc Majok says when the attackers saw him; they ran away, giving a sigh of relief to the Ugandan who was in their hands, Radio Don Bosco reported.
 
He adds that the victim sustained injury on his left arm and that he is receiving medication in Don Bosco Hospital.
 
The survivor says he was going to collect phone battery from a charging centre as he landed in the ambush of unidentified attackers a few metres away from his residence.
 
Night attacks remain common in the area amidst security personnel patrols at night.
