Policeman early Tuesday morning shot two young men in Bafra residential area in Wau of Western Bahr El Ghazal State.
A man who sustained injury in the hand Malish Jokondo told Voice of Hope at Wau Teaching Hospital that the policeman was guarding a stuck lorry in the area as he opened fire on them.
Night Patrol Commander Salah Issa Bandoki says the incident should not affect the harmonious relationship between community and police, assuring that authorities would hold the wrongdoers accountable.
He says the suspects are under police custody for investigation.
