A Nuba Mountains’ charity organization known as KODI distributed vegetable seeds and eight thousand, two hundred and forty-three agricultural tools to the war affected people of Delami County.

KODI Relief and Emergency Program Manager Musa Jebrin Lambi on Monday said they distributed seeds including onions, rockets, eggplants, tomatoes, pumpkins and okra among others to 3,518 households to reduce the looming hunger in the area, Radio Voice of Peace reported.

He says 1,810 families benefited from the tools, calling on Delami residents to work hard to gain from what they received.

Earlier this month, Kulurubu Organization in partnership with Agriculture Secretariat and Nuba Relief and Rehabilitation Development Organization distributed seeds to Tubo, Umdarain, Talodi and Heiban Counties of the Nuba Mountains to enable local farmers produce their food.

KODI organization was established in 2005 after the signing of CPA to provide services to the local population of the county.
