The National Council of Ministers on Friday’s regular sitting endorses a ministerial memo that stipulates policy review and restructure for education system in South Sudan.
Acting Government Spokesperson Rebecca Joshua Okwaci tells the press in Juba that the policy review document changes Khartoum related education system that South Sudan inherited from independence to a suitable one to satisfy national social, economic and political needs.
She explains that the policy review is meant for harmonization of the then two ministries of higher education and general education in ten years to bring about effective service delivery in secondary schools, vocational institutions, colleges and universities under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
