Yei River County of Central Equatoria High court dismissed the case of thirty suspected Boda-boda riders arrested in connection to Wednesday’s fuel protest.
Yei High Court Judge Obac Denyong says that the case is dismissed because of no enough evidence to show involvement in damaging fuel stations, Radio Easter reported.
Complainer’s crimes investigators from Mayor’s office Abraham Saied and Philip Guajok Taban say they are convinced with the court ruling, but would continue to carry out investigation to trap the right individuals who participated in the destruction.
On Wednesday Boda-boda riders stormed the Mayor’s office demanding provision of fuel in the municipality.
