Gunmen shot dead two suspected thieves

Police in Wau reported the death of two teenagers shot by gunmen on Wednesday morning on theft account as with the third sustained gunshot injury on the leg.

 

Wau Teaching Hospital authorities say the two suspects died before doctors could make any possible step to save their lives, but that the wounded one is now getting better after an operation, Radio Voice of Hope reported.

 

Police Colonel Salah Issa Bandukii says one suspect was shot by a civilian who had access to his father’s gun who is a wildlife officer.

 

Mr Salah added that the two suspects were gunned down by a police guarding Eyat Construction Company limited as they attempted to empty fuel barrels.
