The National Platform for Peace and Reconciliation or NPPR in collaboration with Civil Society and other partners on Thursday launched peace campaign.
The Platform Chairperson Chuol Rambang Luoth says the campaign is also expected to start at County and Payam levels so that citizens at the grassroots participate in peace making, Radio Bakhita reported.
Civil Society representative Lorna Merekaje urges citizens to rally behind the campaign to restore peace in the country, lauding the Platform for the movement.
SWISS Director for Cooperation office Phillip Besson says the initiative would yield fruit of peace in the country if the Platform implements it.
The event concluded with musical dances from local artists who sang about peace in the country.
