Yei Municipal Mayor prays that peace returns to South Sudan for citizens to embark on nation building through construction of health, education and transport facilities.
Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba on Friday also urged citizens especially the youth to work for peace and maintain it as the nation prepares to commemorate its fourth independence anniversary on July 9th 2015.
He adds that young people should celebrate the independence in peace, respect one another and report any peace obstacle to relevant authority as soon as possible.
Central Equatoria State government is expected to observe the fourth independence anniversary in Lainya County this year.
In 2014, Central Equatoria Government celebrated the Independence Day in Morobo County.
