United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee or UNHCR says it has successfully completed installation of solar water systems at three boreholes in Maban County of Upper Nile State at Batil and Doro refugee camps to save significant amounts of fuel.
The agency says six new secondary teachers from Juba were recruited in Batil refugee camp, Upper Nile State; and at Ajuong Thok area of Unity State.
UNHCR observes that the number of teachers in three primary schools has also increased from 66 to 92.
More toilets, 42 family latrines were constructed in Ajuong Thok camp, two communal latrines in Block 38, totaling to 62 blocks.
