Coaching Centre teacher in Kumbur Payam of Heiban County, Nuba Mountains has reminded parents claiming to have no money to sell their available livestock for paying school children fees.
Teacher Algadi Ibrahim advised class seven pupils on Thursday to work hard and prepare school fees during holidays, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He says Nuba Mountains’ pupils are expected to compete with their Kenyan counterparts in primary leaving examinations.
The teacher made the statement during their school closing day.
