MSF calls on South Sudan warring parties to respect patients

Medicines Sans Frontier or MSF calls on government and SPLM/A in Opposition to respect civilians including patients and medical staff providing humanitarian aid in South Sudan.
 
MSF says civilians, patients and medical staff have often come under attack in the country since mid December 2013.
 
The organization like other partners condemns Wednesday’s shooting of Internally Displaced Persons or IDPs in Malakal Protection of Civilian’s site which claimed a life and wounded nine others.
 
MSF reports three people in critical conditions have been referred for further treatment and five patients continue to receive treatment in Malakal, Upper Nile State.
