As Yei Municipality Mayor’s three-day ultimatum expires on Friday cattle herders have vacated 135 unauthorized livestock.
Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba says three quarters of the unauthorized cattle were transported to Juba on trucks as the ultimatum clocked to the deadline, Radio Easter reported.
He adds that the heads of cattle invading the municipality rose to 382 and that only 60 heads remain in confinement awaiting ferry to Juba.
