Maridi County Press Secretary says most business activities now operate outside town due to heightening insecurity in the area.
Kenneth William tells Radio Anisa that the main market locally known as ‘Suk Wat Wat’ is partly operating with few wholesalers along the main road as other shops remain closed for fear of looting and killing.
He adds that markets like Moko, Monguo, Mabiringi and Araka are operating outside Maridi town.
Mr William discloses that local population is still panicking as security organs patrol within and outside the town.
