Catholic Church plans to open schools for South Sudanese in Sudan

Secretary General for Sudan Catholic Bishops Conference or SCBC has announced on Sunday that the Catholic Church is planning to open up schools for South Sudanese who fled to Sudan.
 
Fr Jacob Odwa Paul observes that many South Sudanese have gone to Khartoum, Sudan in about four camps raising the concern of the Church, Radio Bakhita reported.
 
He prays that God as the giver of life continues to guide, strengthen and give wisdom to the delegation of religious group from Europe to South Sudan and Sudan Church in need and Relief Fund.
 
Fr Jacob says the team from Europe visited Wau, Yambio, Rumbek and Torit listening to challenges citizens face, urging them to continue praying for peace in the new nation for development to prevail.
 
He spoke at St Joseph’s Church of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba during the visit of nine members of the Church in need and Relief Fund delegation from Europe.
