Eastern Equatoria State Women Association commits with help from international community to meet President Salva Kiir Mayardit and SPLM/A in Opposition leader Dr Riek Machar Teny to be part of on and off peace process.
 
Women Association Chairperson Sarah James in Torit advocates for peace and development in South Sudan, Radio Emmanuel reported.
 
She urges government to pass a resolution on disarming civilians especially cattle herders for peace to prevail in the nation.
 
The association chairperson on Thursday argues that the abundance of firearms in hands of civilians in South Sudan remains a threat to peace and stability.
