Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSS Bishop in Western Equatoria State identifies tribalism and hatred among citizens as the major problem spoiling and fuelling current war in the country.
Bishop Peter Munde Yakobo during Friday’s peace crusade calls on South Sudanese to desist from prioritizing tribalism in every deed of life, Radio Anisa reported.
He appeals for respect of one another as human beings.
The bishop decries the horror of conflict at Maridi and Mundri in Western Equatoria, telling residents to stay away from war habits.
The Prelate also discourages citizens from practising witchcrafts that draw them away from God.
