Japanese provide 500 clothes to freed armed children

Japanese people in Juba on Monday donated 500 pieces of clothes to Disarmament Demobilization and Reintegration Commission or DDR to forward to demobilized armed children.
 
Japan Engineering Contingent Osamu Nishimura says they will continue to donate second hand clothes to the freed children.
 
United Nations Children Fund or UNICEF Child Protection Specialist Anthony Nolan welcomes the assistance given to the freed child soldiers.
 
He says there are many children yet to be released from South Sudan militaries and that more resources are needed to support them.
 
National Disarmament Demobilization and Reintegration Commission Chairperson William Deng Deng hails development partners including UNMISS; UNICEF among others for supporting children.
