South Sudan Young Women Christian Association or YWCA on Wednesday gathered 20 youths to discuss Financial Bill 2015 in Yambio of Western Equatoria State, prompting protests against heavy taxes on registration and domestic business charges.
YWCA Acting Executive Director Kpimbata Michael says the discussion breeds community awareness on Financial Bill 2015 to react to the parliamentary approval before President Salva Kiir Mayardit assents to make it active law, Radio Anisa reported.
The Association collaborates with Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO in gathering public views on government taxes meant to boost non-oil revenues for 2015/2016 National Budget.
