An unidentified person suspected to be a young man shot a teacher of Ugandan origin dead on Wednesday evening at Karumba Mixed Secondary School of the Nuba Mountains region.
School Matron Hannah Hussein Kuku tells Voice of Peace on Thursday morning that the teacher died of the gun wounds shortly after hits in the chest and thigh.
She says the attacker fired randomly at teachers after a disagreement with the school administration on request to see his sister.
The School Administration says the suspected killer was arrested on Wednesday night.
