Kajo-Keji County Member of Parliament or MP in the National Legislative Assembly appeals to the business community in South Sudan never to overcharge citizens to exploit the unfortunate economic crisis with excuses of high dollar exchange rates.

Mary Kiden Kimbo tells CRN Yanta Daniel Elisha in an interview that she expects South Sudanese business owners to be lenient and fair with the civil population since they overcome several challenges like road construction together.

She decries rampant insecurity along Juba-Kajo-Keji road, Juba-Yei road and the charge of 150 South Sudanese Pounds per passenger as transport fare from Juba to Kajo-Keji which is only 75 miles away from the capital city.

Legislator Kiden who has been visiting the United Kingdom says South Sudanese in UK embassy demand concerted efforts for peace in South Sudan to avoid more deaths after 2.5 million lives lost in 21 years of civil war for independence and tens of thousands more dying during and after mid December 2013 violence in Juba.

The legislator observes that there are few South Sudanese in the United Kingdom as most of them returned to South Sudan for supposed development efforts after independence.
