The four Payams of Lasu, Mugwo, Tore, and Otogo in Yei River County Central Equatoria State are expected to participate in a cultural festival set for Friday.
County Organizing Committee Chairperson Bosco Lumöri Andrea appeals to citizens to turn up in large numbers for the festival to share experiences and impart knowledge to new generations.
Mr Lumöri laments that little budget limited their efforts to organize the festival that could bring traditional groups from other states.
The World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development is officially celebrated on May 21.
