A Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Juba cautions Christians and citizens at large in South Sudan against hatred.
Fr Oliver Nyara in his homily at St Charles Lwanga’s Chapel of St Joseph’s Parish on Sunday says the Catholic Church would continue to advocate against war, calling on the 64 tribes to unite for peace in the country, Radio Bakhita reported.
He calls on the Christian community to abide by the rules of the church and discourage fighting that destroys the image of South Sudan.
Fr Nyara appeals to the believers to overcome differences and avoid capitalizing on evil practices.
The priest prays that God forgives all evil practitioners and bring them to the table of goodness.
