Church leaders return from Kigali peace mission

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba together with other Church leaders headed by South Sudan Council of Churches chairperson Reverend Peter Gai on Sunday returned from Kigali, Rwanda after a one-week peace mission.
 
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro told Radio Bakhita upon arrival at Juba International Airport that they visited Kigali in order to learn how Rwandans resolve their problems after genocide.
 
He says they also visited Kigali to discover other means of carrying out reconciliation in South Sudan
 
The leaders say they were inspired by the spirit of love and forgiveness they saw in Rwanda.
 
they report that Rwandan testified that forgiveness needs actual work and people have to forget the past and open a new page.
