Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO in Western Bahr El Ghazal State on Wednesday conducted one-day discussion for civil society organizations on Financial Policy Bill and the peace process.
CEPO State Coordinator Stephen Robo Musa in his opening remarks, says the meeting aims at gathering civil society organizations’ views to be presented to the national parliament for incorporation into the Bill, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
He adds that participants would also review civil society involvement on peace process, their achievements and challenges and how to promote harmony in the country.
The briefing attracted 60 participants from civil society organizations, women and youths unions, religious and political members, university students and State Gender, Child and Social Welfare ministry officials.
