Western Bahr El Ghazal health authorities announced another free fistula surgery campaign for 150 patients in July.
Health Minister Isaac Cleto says the operation is conducted in collaboration with South Sudanese doctors, United Nations Population Fund or UNFPA and expert from Nigeria, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
Minister Cleto says Western Bahr El Ghazal was selected to be the area of operation because of good facilities and being in the centre of other states, adding that Health ministry through the help of partners wants to restore dignity of women in South Sudan.
This is the third fistula campaign the state conducts after it operated 80 patients in 2014 and 75 in 2012.
