The director of Yei Town Water and Sanitation Services Limited is advising citizens lacking access to clean water to first treat water before use.
Samuel Taban Kilombe on Tuesday says clean management of water containers is key to preventing outbreak of waterborne diseases, Radio Easter reported.
He says about 18 new water kiosks are expected to be operational by the end of the year to respond to the high demand in the urban areas.
The director adds that some structures along the ongoing construction of the 35-kilometer of water pipeline on Yei-Juba road would be finished later so that owners can remove their belongings.
