Activist urges South Sudan warring parties to reach a common understanding for peace deal before Independence Day celebration with the help of the advanced team, the former detainees.

University graduates Deng Aguer encourages the former political detainees to advocate for peace by courageously talking to the opposition leader Dr Riek Machar Teny to realize the importance of peace in the new nation, Radio Bakhita reported.

He comments that the return of the advanced team to the country would be a fine achievement if killings or outbreak of rebellions are isolated.

Mr Deng tells South Sudanese to be vigilant and understand that the country needs great care and collective responsibility to move forward.
