A Member of Parliament or MP representing Morobo County of Central Equatoria State says youth engagement in drug abuse, including Marungi chewing breeds laziness with a lot of time wastage.
Lemi Poru says ‘the youths become useless’ if they continue spending time on drinking alcohol and other drug abuse leaving farming to elders and children, Radio Easter reported.
The MP made the statement during the blessing ceremony of the commissioner’s residence and memorial of the late Simon Nigo in Panyume Payam of Morobo County.
