Eastern Equatoria State Legislative Assembly in Torit resolves on Tuesday to amend Business Conduct of Regulations 2011 in the next two months.

The move follows a motion presented by Information Committee Chairperson Joseph Lokodo as lawmakers responded with unanimous approval, Radio Emmanuel reported.

The Assembly Business Code of conduct is a document that guides Members of Parliament in the course of their duties.

Key issues identified for amendment include outfit and transport allowances for each member at every recess.

Torit parliament normally goes for recess after 36 consecutive sittings except in cases of emergency.
