Yambio County Paramount Chief appeals for unity among the people to protect and develop themselves.
Chief Wilson Peni Rikito on Wednesday marking World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development celebration on May 21, told Radio Anisa that every person must maintain culture especially the spirit of working together in groups.
He recalls that Western Equatoria ancestors used to come together for farming that made them rich and strong to defend their communities from aggressions.
Chief Peni calls for revival of traditional arts and crafts and also medicines that cure illness.
He urges parents to discipline their children because many kids who misunderstand the issue of child rights get spoiled.
