People with disabilities get skills on income generating activities

Thirty participants comprising seventeen women and thirteen men are undergoing a five-day training in Yei Municipality on income generating activities and business management.
 
The workshop facilitator Chandia Regina says the training seeks to realize independent people with disabilities who can engage in constructive activities to improve their livelihood, Radio Easter reported.
 
She calls for equal participation and treatment of persons with disabilities at all levels, urging the government and development partners to facilitate their activities in the community.
 
The five-day training organized by Handicap International, started on Monday and expected to end on Friday.
