Tonj South Wildlife Officer in Warrap State on Monday tells communities of the county not to kill wild animals.
Major Deng Thuc Majok instructs hunters to seek permit for wild meat in the office and that killing of female animals is forbidden, Radio Don Bosco reported.
He discloses imprisoning a person who killed a crocodile on May 11 without getting an approval from the Wildlife office in the county.
The officer cautions that they are working hard to track down those killing wild animals and some birds without their knowledge.
