Eastern Equatoria Governor calls on young people to actively get involved in cultivation to rescue the state from hunger than spending more time in social activities.

Luis Lobong Lojore warns civil servants who do not use the day for cultivation to lose one day salary, urging citizens to invest to help control market inflation, Radio Emmanuel reported.

The Governor argues that enough circulation of resources would be seen when more is invested in education, health facilities, agriculture and infrastructure.

He discloses measures to improve food production in the state, saying distribution of tractors is one of the policies to support farmers in improving agriculture.

The Governor announces that the state would soon receive the tractors, citing plans towards creation of farmers groups to boost agricultural activities.
