Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Yei Diocese on Friday dispersed nineteen community based rehabilitation field workers for practical job after five-day training on provision of house to house services to persons with disabilities.
Speaking at the closure of the training, ECSSS Bishop Hillary Luwate Adeba calls on the workers to exert efforts to eliminate stigma, Radio Easter reported.
One of the beneficiaries, Reverend Scopas Bullen Lodu commends the partner “Light for the World” for extending support to improve the standard of persons with disabilities.
ECSSS Education Program Officer Yakani Stephen reveals a plan to train more rehabilitation workers next year to get better results from communities.
The officials were speaking during the closing of the training on Friday in Yei.
