Journalists of Western Bahr El Ghazal on Friday at the State Information Ministry ahead of the World Press Freedom Day commemorated the killing of five journalists on Raja road car ambush in January this year.
Union of Journalists of South Sudan or UJOSS State Chairperson also Radio Wau Director Alor Deng Kur described the day as important to remember their fallen brothers and in solidarity with their families.
He says the Union is keen to see the release of the report surrounding the killing of the five journalists and the perpetrators held accountable.
Mr Deng reports that some media practitioners are still getting threatened, detained while looking for information.
