EE Information Minister urges journalists to adhere to media law

Eastern Equatoria State Acting Information and Broadcasting Minister on Monday during a three-day journalism workshop in Torit urged media practitioners to stick to media laws while pointing issues where the government may be going wrong.
 
Ochan Bongomin describes media as a car break without which the government would not deliver services well, appealing to journalists to work hand in hand with the government for national development.
 
The Acting Minister encourages journalists to persevere in their work for the people of South Sudan to get the right information, informing them to take the learning seriously, apply the knowledge and work within the law.
 
The Acting Minister spoke during three-day training to disseminate media laws, Code of Conduct and Journalism Ethics.
