Western Equatoria State government on Monday celebrated a one year local Governance and Service Delivery Anniversary Project at Tourist Hotel in Yambio.
Local Government and Law Enforcement Minister Daniel Ezibon Zingifuaboro says the program was introduced for service delivery at County, Payam and Boma levels in South Sudan, Radio Anisa reported.
He expresses that the Logo seed Project launched last year in Ibba and Ezo Counties in Western Equatoria is successfully implemented.
Project Coordinator Guyson Adikooba Androga cites construction of classroom blocks in Andari and Naandi Payam, outpatient blocks in Ezo County, opening of 43.5 kilometers in Maruko and five boreholes repaire in Ibba County as some of the significant achievements.
Acting Governor Sapan Abui appreciates Ibba and Ezo County Commissioners for transparency in handling the project.
He calls for more support from the national government for proper implementation of the project.
Logo seed Project is a South Sudan Program funded by World Bank implemented in Western Equatoria and Lakes States.
