Eastern Equatoria State Education Ministry discloses during the launch of Functional Adult Literacy on Monday plans to train more tutors and technical people to teach adult students in collaboration with United Nation Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization or UNESCO in Torit.

Acting Education Minister Patrick Lodinga urges school dropout and adults to enroll for learning, encouraging students to take courage amidst domestic challenges, Radio Emmanuel reported.

Mr Lodinga hopes to extend the program across the state, urging partners to support the curriculum.

The Acting Minister argues that education has no age limit for everybody who wants to learn, encouraging dropout students to go back to school.

Torit Education Director Pasquale Ohuro cites lack of technical instructor as an obstacle to the Adult Literacy Program, lamenting that currently they have only 25 tutors to cover ten adult learning centers operating in Torit.
