Fifty male and two female students on Monday started South Sudan Secondary School Certificate exams in Yei Municipality.
Among the two female students, one is taking her exams at the hospital on maternal note, Radio Easter reported.
Speaking at the launch, Yei Education Director, Philip Taban Issa encourages students to take education a priority for future development
Yei Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba who rang the first bell of the exams, appeals to students to build self-confidence, observe time and avoid malpractices.
The exams that started on Monday would take ten days.
