Catholic priest tells parents, leaders to be good shepherds

Yei Catholic Diocese Secretary-General is urging parents and South Sudan leaders to show the example of a good shepherd by taking good care of children and citizens from abuses.
 
Fr Emmanuel Sebit Lodongo in his on Good Shepherd Sunday homily, tells parents to bring up responsible children, Radio Easter reported.
 
He advises leaders to imitate Jesus leadership’s example through working for peace and offering better protection to children.
 
Fr Lazarus Mondua in his Bari mass homily, calls on Christians to continuously pray for God’s mercy for the nation to achieve peace, appealing to them to persistently move closer to God amidst the untold suffering.
 
He cautions that if the war continues, many people would lose lives and suffering increases, saying that the warring parties need prayers to become peace lovers.
