The people of Yangiri Payam of Ezo County complain about the vacant position of their executive chief since the government suspended Chief Justin Agbiamomu last year.

St Luke the Evangelist Parish Priest Bazia Boro Elario cites bad things happening in Yangiri such as men killing women and some criminal youth attacking passing lorries due to absence of the chief to advise them, Radio Anisa reported.

He appeals to the state government to consider this matter as serious because the whole Yangiri Payam has only two policemen.

The priest requests Ezo County Commissioner to pay regular visit to Yangiri Payam to advise the population.
