The National Alliance strongly condemns the surrounding and blocking entrance to the house of their leader also SPLM-DC Chairman Dr Lam Akol Ajawin by security organs.
Alliance Secretary General Martin Aligo told journalists on Friday in Juba that the house was besieged on Thursday at 9:00 PM, and that there are four vehicles at Lam’s house with no explanation to their action, terming it ‘gross violation of individual’s freedom’.
He argues that the move taken by government forces is politically motivated against National Alliance leadership, calling on the regime to order its forces to immediately withdraw.
United Democratic Party Deputy Chairman Steward Soroba tells the government to explain why Dr Lam’s house is surrounded.
National Alliance also SPLM-DC Chairman Dr Lam Akol Ajawin was critical on the election scheduled for June 30 prior to peaceful solution to the ongoing conflict and extension of the government’s term for three years.
