Explosive kills child in Nuba Mountains

A ten-year-old boy died in a bomb explosion in Anggartu of Nuba Mountains on Sunday.
 
An eye witness reports that the boy who, went to Anggartu to collect mango fruits, found an explosive remnant of war and started hitting it against a wood, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
 
The bomb exploded injuring the boy’s two legs and all his body and that the boy died at the hospital before treatment.
 
Last year a small boy was seriously wounded in a bomb explosion in Mendi.
 
Anggartu was a scene of fierce fighting between the government and SPLA/M-N forces in January.
