United Nations or UN Action against Sexual Violence in Conflict delegation is expected to visit South Sudan from Monday 20th to Friday April 24th.
An invitation extended to CRN indicates that the delegation consists of an official from UN Action against Sexual Violence in Conflict, UN Women, UNICEF and representatives of two leading donor governments of the United Kingdom and Sweden.
The visit focuses on providing technical support to the finalization and implementation of the joint communiqué signed between the Government of South Sudan and the United Nations on addressing conflict-related sexual violence in the country.
The delegation intends to undertake a communication activity using UN Action’s ‘Stop Rape Now’ advocacy platform.
