Western Equatoria State Student Association or WESSA laments that this year few students joined Catholic University of South Sudan in Juba.

WESSA Chairperson Angelo Bombura Arkangelo told Radio Anisa in a telephone that the state was leading with the number of students in the past two years but the number started decreasing drastically.

He urges Western Equatoria students not to wait for big money in order to join the University, but apply with the little money at hand and consult the Association for guidance.

He mentioned that many students joined Catholic University through WESSA supports, cautioning all learners to double efforts and focus on how to build strong Western Equatoria of tomorrow.

Mr Bombura stresses the importance of mobilizing friends in the state to join universities and compete in the country’s socio-economic activities.

WESSA has 96 members at Catholic University of South Sudan Juba Campus.
