Western Equatoria State Self-help Women Development Association on Thursday organized an annual general assembly to amend its Constitution.

The Association Chairlady Grace William Bakata says they invited chairpersons, secretaries and treasurers from all branches in Ibba, Ezo, Tombura, Nzara, and Yambio Counties, Radio Anisa reported.

She added that they also invited women from other Associations to share their views in the constitution review process.

Ms Bakata urges all women to join associations and build their capacities.

Association Consultant Wilson Anguini says the Constitution amendment was to remove bad things and incorporate relevant ones for the progress of the body.

He urges participants to contribute effectively in the two-day event.
