Inter-Payams primary schools athletic competition launch takes place in Yei on Friday with the first kick off at Yei Teachers’ Training College playground.
Speaking to Radio Easter ahead of the event, Yei Municipal Co-Curriculum Supervisor John Wesley says the activities will include long, short races, jumps and track field events.
He adds that the friendly competition seeks to develop talents of upcoming athletes, promote unity, love and peace among diverse learners.
He says the six Payams of Yei River County among others Lasu, Mugwo, Otogo, Tore and the Municipality are expected to participate in the two-day competition.
